Melted Snowman Mocktail
Happy New Year! Happy Dry January! I hope you are surviving the longest month of the year. I know my start has been a struggle with new projects and obligations, but I’m looking forward to some exciting changes this year.
I’ve got a fun mocktail for you. It’s a fun spin on an Italian cocktail called a sgroppino. A sgroppino is traditionally made with sorbet and prosecco. It’s usually served as a palate cleanser between courses or as a light dessert.
I called this mocktail a “Melted Snowman” for obvious reasons, but definitely save this recipe for Summer months as well!
Melted Snowman Mocktail
Serves 2.
Ingredients:
2 tsp Lemon Juice
1 C Lemon Sorbet
1 C Non-alcoholic Sparkling Wine
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a small pitcher.
Using a hand blender, blend all ingredients until slushy.
Pour into two glasses.
Garnish with mint or lemon. (Optional)
Enjoy!
Notes:
Of course you can make this with alcohol. Just replace the non-alcoholic sparkling wine with your favorite bubbly.
You could also use a lemon sparkling water in place of the sparkling wine. (Or try it with flavored- lemon or berry would work well!)
If you don’t have a hand blender, you can also use a regular blender.
